What to Expect
A smiling face will greet you at the main door. If you have any questions (such as which small group to attend or where to find the nursery), our greeters and Welcome Center attendants are more than happy to help you.
Our services are relatively simple. We gather to rejoice in the Lord and to sing His praises with gladness and gravity. We gather to call upon the Lord in prayer. We gather to study the Bible and think about how we can apply it to our lives. We also take an offering, but that is intended for our church members. Guests are welcome to give, but that is definitely not expected.
You are our guest, and we make every effort to make sure you feel welcome with us. No matter who you are or where you have been, we hope to see you at Bay Street Baptist Church.
Come for relevant instruction taken directly from the Bible. Come to experience the love of Christian community. Most of all, come to draw near to Jesus and to experience the glory of His presence, power, and purposes for you. We truly hope you will come; we look forward to meeting you!
Where to Find Us
We are located on Florida 19N, precisely where Eustis and Umatilla meet. You will access our parking lot from highway 19. If you are travelling north out of Eustis, you will need to drive about 1000 feet past the church and make a u-turn (our parking lot can only be accessed from the southbound lane).
What to Wear
We honestly don't care what you wear. Some men will be wearing shorts; others come in suits. Some women will be wearing jeans or capris; others come in dresses. We wouldn't recommend the fully-equipped Iron Man costume. But, hey, if that is the only way we get to meet you, then "Avengers Assemble!"
