        Privacy Policy
It is the policy of Bay Street Baptist Church Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “BSBC”) to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for baybc.org (hereinafter referred to as "Website"). By visiting this portion of our Website, you can expect to be notified of:
        1. What information is collected and how that information is used.
        2. With whom the information will be shared.
        3. This Website's policy on correcting and updating personally identifiable information.
        Website Visitors
BSBC does not collect any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it to us. Our Website may use session cookies to deliver content specific to your interests, to save any ID you may request and be issued so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit different pages on our Website, and for other limited purposes. We also may choose to automatically collect some non-personally identifiable information from our visitors such as the type of computer operating system (e.g., Windows '95 or Mac OS) and browser (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer) being used, and the domain name of the Internet service provider (e.g., America Online, Earthlink). In general, however, the information collected from these cookies is not retained following your visit to our Website.
The more information you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we are able to customize your experience. You have the option to provide us with additional demographic information if you wish. We use customer contact information from the registration form to provide requested services to you from the Website and to send you information about our church. Your contact information may be updated by you at any time, any duplicate registration information will be used and old information will be deleted. Duplicate registration will be determined at the discretion of BSBC Website administrators.

        Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
BSBC discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on BSBC’s behalf or to provide services available at BSBC’s website, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees may be located outside of your home country; by using BSBC’s website, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. BSBC will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, as described above, BSBC discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when BSBC believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of BSBC, third parties or the public at large. BSBC takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

        Children's Guidelines

Children's privacy is of primary concern to us. WE DO NOT knowingly collect online contact information from children under the age of 13 without prior parental consent or parental notification, which will include an opportunity for the parent to prevent use of the information and participation in the activity. Without prior parental consent, online information will only be used to respond directly to a child's request.

        Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. BSBC visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using BSBC’s website, with the drawback that certain features of BSBC’s website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

        Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, BSBC may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at BSBC’s sole discretion. BSBC encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
